Hilly terrain and frequent elevation changes make correct club selection essential—take one club less for long downhill shots and one more for uphill approaches.

The long downhill 2nd hole rewards a controlled tee shot aimed at the center of the fairway to avoid tree trouble and set up a straightforward approach.

Tree-lined fairways and natural woodlands penalize wayward tee shots, so prioritize accuracy over distance throughout the round.

Exposed holes such as the 12th can be breezy, so check wind direction and strength before committing to a club.

Bentgrass greens are generally true, so focus on precise approach shots and carefully read subtle breaks, using the GPS in the cart for yardage and strategy.
