Many holes use natural undulations and elevation changes, so adjust club selection for uphill and downhill lies rather than relying on yardage alone.

Bentgrass greens tend to be true and can run fast, so aim to leave approaches below the hole and take care reading subtle breaks.

Being close to Suruga Bay, expect sea breezes and occasional crosswinds that can shift during the round, so monitor wind direction and choose conservative lines when necessary.
