The layout is relatively flat and short for a par‑72 seaside course, so prioritize accuracy off the tee over pure distance to keep approach shots simple.

Many holes are separated by pine stands with minimal OB, but water hazards and undulations guard several greens so choose conservative clubs into trouble areas.

Coastal winds can be the biggest factor—check the wind at the first tee and adjust club selection and trajectory, especially on exposed holes and in the afternoon sea breeze.

Bentgrass greens are well maintained and receptive yet can show subtle breaks, so focus on pace control and pick the correct of the two greens when available.

Soft‑spike footwear is required—bring proper shoes and expect firm fairways in dry conditions due to seaside exposure.
