Treat the courses like target practice—shorter yardages reward accurate iron and wedge play rather than power.

Adjust club selection for uphill and downhill shots since the hilly layout can make distances play longer or shorter than the yardage.

Be aware of the two green types: Zoysia (Korai) on the Sakura Course tends to be slower with grain, while bentgrass on the Hikari Course breaks truer and generally rolls faster.

Keep tee shots controlled because fairways are not particularly wide, and prioritize position over distance to avoid tricky recovery shots.
