At nearly 7,000 yards and on hilly terrain, prioritize accuracy off the tee rather than pure distance to avoid difficult downhill or uphill lies.

Expect two distinct green behaviors: Bentgrass will be faster and truer while Zoysia tends to be firmer and slower, so adjust putter speed and approach spin accordingly.

Account for elevation changes on approach shots—club up for uphill targets and be conservative on downhill shots to avoid rolling off the front of greens.

Wind can change between sheltered valleys and exposed ridges, so check conditions from elevated tees and favor the center of the green when pin positions are aggressive.
