Tree-lined fairways demand accuracy off the tee, so favour placement over distance to avoid trouble in the woods.

Many holes play relatively flat, but the greens have subtle undulations and varied shapes so aim for the correct side of the green to leave an uphill or short putt.

Wind from the bay can be deceptive—check flags frequently and be prepared to change club selection, especially on exposed holes and in the afternoon.

With 27 holes and multiple nine-hole combinations, plan strategy per nine rather than trying to attack every hole, and manage energy through the round.

Greens are bentgrass and can be firm and quick when well maintained, so practice lag putting to reduce three-putts and consider conservative approaches when pin positions are tight.
