Shirakawa Golf Club is a serene 27-hole highland course located at an elevation of 550 to 600 meters in Fukushima Prefecture. It features three distinct courses: a wide, gently rolling course with fairways over 100 yards wide, a course surrounded by conifer forests, and one set amidst soft landscapes of broadleaf trees and bamboo grass. Each offers enjoyable challenges for players of all levels. The clubhouse, inspired by pastoral scenery, is marked by a distinctive silo and decorated with local Shirakawa stone, creating a warm, rustic atmosphere. Practice facilities include a 230-yard range suitable for drivers and an approach area.

플레이 팁

Take advantage of the wide fairways on the Gontakura course by aiming for safe centre lines to avoid recovery shots.

On the Nasu course the tree‑lined holes require accuracy off the tee and thoughtful layups rather than always bombing driver.

Greens are bentgrass and generally true, so pay close attention to subtle breaks and speed when putting.

Use the 230‑yard practice range to dial in your driver and judge carry distances since cooler highland air can slightly reduce carry.
