Sasebo International Country Club is a scenic 18-hole course located in Nagasaki Prefecture, featuring rolling hills with elevation changes of 50 to 80 meters. The layout takes full advantage of the natural terrain, offering diverse challenges such as doglegs, water hazards, and an S-shaped 6th hole. Fairways have limited undulation but include strategically placed bunkers that add interest, especially around the greens. The course is maintained with bentgrass and zoysia greens. As of June 23, 2024, the bath facilities have fully reopened after repairs. From June 1, 2025, fairway cart access will be available for an additional fee upon request.

Account for the course's 50–80 meter elevation changes by clubbing up on uphill shots and allowing for extra rollout on downhill approaches.

The S-shaped 6th hole requires precise tee and second shots, so prioritize position over pure distance to navigate the bends.

Several holes feature water hazards and doglegs where a conservative lay-up often yields better scores than trying to carry hazards.

Greens are a mix of bentgrass and zoysia so speeds and grain vary across the course—use early putts to gauge pace and be cautious with aggressive lines.

Coastal sea breezes can be gusty and shift during the round, and note that fairway cart access is available for an additional fee upon request.

Sasebo has a maritime climate with mild winters, hot humid summers, a pronounced rainy season in early summer (June), and occasional typhoons in late summer to early autumn, so wind and rain can change conditions quickly.

베스트 시즌

Late spring (April–May) and autumn (October–November) offer the most comfortable temperatures and the most stable playing conditions, while the June rainy season and late-summer typhoon period are best avoided when possible.
