Although the routing is mostly flat, Isao Aoki’s strategic design rewards accuracy off the tee over pure distance so prioritize hitting fairways.

Many approaches are guarded by bunkers and other hazards, so choose a club that leaves a comfortable distance for your short game rather than attacking pins blindly.

Morning rounds tend to be calmer, but mountain breezes can develop in the afternoon and alter ball flight—adjust club selection accordingly.

Greens are bentgrass and generally receptive but can have subtle breaks, so spend extra time reading putts and focus on lag putting to avoid three-putts.
