The hilly layout has moderate elevation changes and few severe uphill holes, so focus on tee placement to leave the easiest angle into the green rather than trying to overpower tight landing areas.

At 6,790 yards from the championship tees the course can play long, so higher-handicap players should consider using forward tees to shorten approach distances and avoid penalties.

Zoysia greens are often firmer and can show subtle grain, so play putts with an eye for speed and try to leave approach shots below the hole when possible.

Sea breezes and seasonal southerly winds can change club selection on exposed tees, so check wind direction carefully and be prepared to club up or down by one to two clubs.
