The course is relatively flat but tree-lined, so accurate tee shots are more important than pure distance to avoid blocked approaches.

At nearly 6,946 yards the layout plays long—long hitters can gain an advantage on par 5s but consistent iron play is essential for scoring.

Bentgrass greens are well maintained and can be quicker than they appear, so prioritize distance control on approaches and pay close attention to subtle breaks.

Many holes are sheltered by woodland which reduces gusts, but the more open holes toward the Kanto Plain can be affected by wind, so check conditions before each round.

With minimal elevation change, club selection depends mainly on wind and green firmness rather than uphill or downhill lies.
