The hilly layout and elevation changes make club selection for approaches critical—take an extra club for uphill shots and consider one less for downhill.

Being close to the Sea of Okhotsk, coastal winds often affect carry so check wind direction and adjust distance accordingly, especially on exposed holes.

Bentgrass greens are typically smooth and can run quick after maintenance, so focus on speed control and try to leave putts below the hole.

Fairways are generally generous but the undulating terrain can punish wayward shots, so prioritize hitting the fairway and use the cart to plan safer angles into greens.
