Several incourse holes feature ponds and creeks near landing areas and greens, so play conservatively when water comes into play and favor safe layups when needed.

Large bentgrass one-greens require precise distance control and careful reads of subtle breaks, so aim to leave approaches below the hole for an uphill putt when possible.

As a hilly 7,134-yard course, elevation changes and long carries matter—adjust club selection for uphill/downhill shots and account for breeze on exposed holes by keeping a lower ball flight if windy.
