Tee shots are rewarded by generally generous fairways but tree-lined corridors punish errant drives, so prioritize a straight tee shot over maximal distance.

Many approaches are guarded by ponds and creeks, so plan your layups and aim points to avoid water on the short game.

Several holes feature noticeable elevation changes—take extra club for uphill approaches and be prepared for longer roll on downhill shots.

Greens are bentgrass with firm, undulating surfaces, so focus on speed control and spend time reading breaks on longer putts.

Wind tends to be light in the morning but can pick up in the afternoon from mountain breezes, so check conditions before choosing clubs for mid-to-late rounds.
