Nippon Country Club is an 18-hole course located in the hilly terrain of Saitama Prefecture. Opened in 1970, the course features two distinct nines: a flat, bold OUT course and a strategically undulating IN course. The grounds are surrounded by a rich variety of trees, creating beautiful seasonal scenery from spring blossoms to autumn colors. The course has two greens made of Bentgrass and Bermudagrass, both presenting subtle slopes that challenge putting skills. With around 100 well-placed bunkers guarding the greens, golfers will find shots from sand particularly demanding. Soft spikes are required on this scenic country club.

You can practice at this course! Take advantage of the practice range to warm up before your round or work on your skills.

플레이 팁

Favor accuracy off the tee to avoid the numerous fairway and greenside bunkers that protect many holes.

Treat the OUT nine as an opportunity to attack pins on generally flatter holes, while playing more conservatively on the IN nine due to its strategic undulations.

Pay close attention to club selection on approach shots because subtle slopes and elevation changes on the IN holes can make yardages play differently.

Adjust reads and speed depending on the green type—Bentgrass tends to hold a truer line in cooler months while Bermudagrass shows more grain and faster rolls in summer.

Kanto weather brings humid summers with a rainy season in June–July and occasional typhoons in late summer, mild and pleasant springs and autumns, and cool, relatively dry winters; winds are generally light but can become gusty on exposed ridges.

베스트 시즌

Spring (late March–May) and autumn (October–November) are best for comfortable temperatures and peak foliage views, avoiding the rainy season and summer heat.
