This long (7,192 yd) links-style layout rewards accurate tee shots—aim for the center of the relatively narrow fairways to avoid thick natural fescue rough.

Coastal wind is a major factor—keep the ball flight low, choose clubs conservatively, and be prepared for gusts that can change yardage significantly.

Fairways and approaches tend to be firm so expect extra roll; plan landing areas accordingly and often play one less club for run-on.

Greens are bentgrass and can be firm and quick—use conservative lines on putts and allow for subtle breaks and speed variations.

Around the greens, bump-and-run shots are often more effective than high chips on firm links turf, and note that soft spikes are required.
