Take advantage of the generally wide fairways and aim for conservative tee shots because there are no blind holes and positioning is rewarded.

Be precise with approach shots since well-placed bunkers and water hazards protect many greens and punish overly aggressive lines.

Use the front nine to build confidence—its mostly flat layout is forgiving—while treating the back nine more strategically due to gentle elevation changes that affect club selection.

Respect the bentgrass greens as they can be relatively quick with subtle breaks, so focus on pace control and careful reads when putting.
