플레이 팁

The highland altitude means thinner air and slightly longer carry distances, so consider clubbing down on long shots.

Many fairways are flanked by birch and larch and the design uses natural undulations, so accuracy off the tee is rewarded to avoid blocked recovery angles.

Exposed tees and ridge holes can be gusty with mountain breezes, so check wind at each shot and keep trajectories lower when it is windy.

Bentgrass greens can play firm and quick in dry summer conditions, so leave approach shots below the hole and allow extra break on putts.

The course is conveniently close to Kusatsu Onsen and offers rental clubs, but expect elevation changes and follow the soft-spike only rule for footwear.
