At under 3,000 yards and with many short holes, prioritize accuracy and a reliable short game over power to save strokes.

Bentgrass greens are generally smooth and can run true, so test putt speed early and allow for subtle breaks on approach shots.

Pay attention to flags and local wind at the foot of Mt. Daisen, as gusts can change club selection on shorter holes.

Since the course caters to a wide range of players, play conservatively on green-side hazards and use bump-and-run techniques when the pin is tucked.
