Ibaraki Royal Country Club offers an 18-hole, par-72 course set in a hilly landscape with wide fairways and clear sightlines from the tee to the green on most holes. The spacious greens are shaped lengthwise and feature varied slopes, making pin positions an important factor in difficulty. The sand bunkers contain light Australian sand, adding extra challenge. Practice facilities are well-equipped, including a driving range allowing driver shots, a bunker practice area, and an approach zone. A lodge named Yushintei is conveniently located adjacent to the course for accommodation. Soft spikes are recommended for play.

You can practice at this course! Take advantage of the practice range to warm up before your round or work on your skills.

플레이 팁

Use the driver where fairways allow, but prioritize accuracy because the long, lengthwise greens and their pin-dependent slopes can punish errant approaches.

Expect changeable wind on the hilly terrain, especially on elevated tees and exposed holes, and adjust club selection accordingly.

Attack pins below the hole when possible because the greens are long with lateral undulations that make uphill or side-hill putts treacherous.

Be mindful of the light Australian sand in bunkers which can behave differently to shots, so use the practice bunker to dial in your technique before starting.

Take advantage of the driving range and approach area to warm up with driver and short-game shots since precise iron play into the greens is rewarded.
