The front nine features several doglegs so focus on tee placement to leave the best angle into the green rather than always hitting driver.

Longer, relatively straight holes on the back nine reward accuracy and well-placed fairway woods or long irons to set up good approaches.

Watch for water and bunkers that are used as landing or approach hazards and plan conservative routes when risk outweighs reward.

Bentgrass greens are typically true so prioritize distance control on approaches and pay close attention to subtle breaks when putting.

Be mindful of wind, especially on exposed or elevated holes where breeze from the Seto Inland Sea can change club selection significantly.
