At 7,155 yards the course plays long so distance off the tee is an advantage, especially on the longer par‑4s and par‑5s.

Fairways are generally flat and wide, so prioritize hitting the fairway and taking conservative lines to avoid recovery shots.

With both Bentgrass and Bermudagrass greens expect faster, truer putting on Bent areas in spring/fall and visible grain plus firmer, sometimes bumpier surfaces on Bermuda in summer, so adjust putt speed and reads accordingly.

The course is classified as hilly with modest elevation changes near some greens, so pay attention to yardages and club up or down on approach shots when elevation changes are present.

Wind is usually light to moderate inland but can influence longer holes; check the flags and play a controlled shot when conditions are breezy.
