Handa Golf Links is a flat seaside course located in Aichi Prefecture, inspired by traditional British links-style design. The course features natural mounds, creeks, ponds, and pot bunkers that add strategic challenge throughout its 18 holes. Facing the scenic Kinuura Bay, golfers need to consider strong coastal winds, especially from winter to spring. The front nine loops around the outer edge of the course, including a long mid-length hole along the bay and an island green surrounded by a creek. The back nine winds inward, with most holes requiring precise shots to navigate water hazards. Soft spikes are required on this course.

플레이 팁

Use low, penetrating trajectories and favor hybrids or long irons into the wind because coastal gusts—especially in winter and spring—can blow high shots off line.

Be conservative on the front nine that runs along Kinuura Bay, as the long mid-length seaside hole and the island green guarded by a creek demand positional tee shots rather than pure distance.

Approach shots on the back nine require precision because many holes play inward with water hazards; pick clubs that allow you to safely carry hazards and avoid short-sided lies.

Expect firm, fast bentgrass greens and penal pot bunkers, so practice bump-and-run around the greens and try to leave your putts below the hole to avoid testing long downhill sliders.
