Accuracy off the tee is more valuable than raw distance on this 6,241‑yard hilly course, so favor fairways over heroic long drives.

The bentgrass greens have noticeable undulation, so play approaches to the correct side of the hole and take extra care reading breaks.

Expect occasional hillside wind; exposed tees and elevated greens can make club selection one or two clubs different than a flat yardage suggests.

Because there are few blind holes, you can often see landing areas—use visual cues and conservative targets to avoid risky carries into trouble.

Wear soft spikes and be prepared for uneven lies on slopes; uphill and downhill shots are common and affect club choice and stance.
