Account for elevation on this hilly layout by clubbing up for uphill shots and clubbing down on downhill approaches to avoid coming up short or overshooting the green.

Fairways are lined with native trees so prioritize accuracy off the tee rather than sheer distance to avoid blocked or awkward approaches.

Greens are Zoysia (kōrai) with rich contours that hold well but demand precise speed control and careful reading of subtle breaks.

Wind can be variable on the slopes, so check wind direction from higher ground before each shot and adjust aim and club selection accordingly.

When pins are placed near slopes or depressions, play the percentages and leave a conservative approach to give yourself an uphill or makeable putt.
