The gently rolling, hilly layout rewards accurate tee shots, so prioritize fairway placement over raw distance to avoid difficult recovery shots.

The front nine is relatively forgiving while the back nine requires more strategy and precise shot-making, so play conservatively early and pick targets carefully on the inward holes.

Bentgrass greens can firm up and play quicker on dry days, so be conservative with approach distance and pay close attention to subtle breaks when putting.

Local winds and sea breezes from Tokyo Bay can change club selection, especially on elevated or exposed holes, and soft spikes are recommended for traction on hilly lies.
