The course is hilly with notable elevation changes so adjust club selection for uphill and downhill shots rather than relying solely on flat-yardage numbers.

The Nanamasa Course has hosted professional events and rewards accuracy off the tee, so prioritize position on tighter fairways over pure distance.

Bentgrass greens take good pace and show subtle breaks, so allocate extra time to read putts and expect medium to quick speeds.

Sea breezes and exposed ridge holes can produce variable wind conditions, so monitor wind direction and consider lower ball flights on breezy days.

Use the GPS-equipped carts to check yardages and hazards and plan conservative approaches around bunkers and slopes instead of always attacking the pin.
