On the East Course take advantage of the wide fairways to be aggressive off the tee, but remember the course's 7,028‑yard length rewards distance and good course management.

On the West Course prioritize accuracy and conservative course management because narrower landing areas and precise approaches are required.

The hilly layout produces frequent elevation changes so adjust club selection cautiously—use more club for uphill shots and less for downhill shots.

Bentgrass greens can be firm and quicker in summer, so focus on precise putting and read subtle breaks while also allowing for hilltop wind when judging approach distances.
