The layout is mostly flat with gentle undulations so prioritize accurate tee shots and course management rather than sheer distance to avoid long recoveries.

West and Central nines allow riding carts so use them to keep energy for the back nine, while the East course is primarily walking with monorail assistance on long stretches so plan pacing accordingly.

Bentgrass greens can play firmer and quicker in cooler months and slower in high summer, so pay close attention to pin positions and subtle breaks when planning approaches and putts.

Wind can be variable in the mountain valley—mornings are often calm but expect cross or swirling winds in the afternoon, so adjust club selection and shot trajectory as the day progresses.
