Atami Golf Club, established in 1939, is a scenic 9-hole course located just minutes from Atami Station in Shizuoka Prefecture. Set 300 meters above sea level, it offers stunning views of the Sagami Bay, Oshima, Hatsushima, and Atami city. Designed by renowned Shiro Akahoshi, the course features challenging fast greens and unique bunkers, appealing especially to experienced golfers. Players complete two rounds on different tee grounds for a full 18-hole experience. After your game, relax in the 100% natural hot spring baths and mist sauna, while enjoying spectacular views from the clubhouse and restaurant. Soft spikes are recommended for play.

The course is a 9‑hole mountain layout played twice for 18, so prioritize accuracy off the tee over sheer distance and manage your energy for two different teeings.

Fast bentgrass greens require a delicate touch—aim for the center of the green on approach shots to minimize the risk of three‑putts on subtle breaks.

Coastal sea breezes and elevation changes can materially affect club selection—check wind direction from elevated tees and add a club into a headwind.

Unique, penal bunkers and sloping surrounds punish aggressive lines, so favor the safer side of the green and use the slopes to feed the ball close to the hole.
