All short holes demand shots carried over water, so commit to your club selection and aim for the safest landing area beyond the hazard.

Hilly terrain produces uphill and downhill lies that affect club selection and stance, so adjust yardage and ball position accordingly.

The course's bentgrass greens are typically well-kept and can play firm and true in warm months, so spend time reading subtle contours and avoid long downhill putts.

Exposed elevated tees and the foothill location mean wind can change quickly—check wind on raised tee boxes and play conservatively when gusty.
