Although overall yardage is modest, the hilly layout rewards accuracy from the tee rather than pure distance, so prefer position over power.

Bentgrass greens and tricky contours around the greens demand precise approach shots and conservative targets to avoid difficult recovery sand or sloping areas.

Account for elevation changes when choosing clubs—take more club for shots into the hill and less for downhill or blind carries.
