Accuracy off the tee is more important than distance because many holes are tree-lined despite generally flat fairways.

Although bunkers are shallow, the preserved woodlands penalize wayward shots, so favour position over aggressive lines.

Several holes feature creek crossings and water hazards where conservative club selection will reduce bogeys.

Bentgrass single greens change character with pin placement, so aim for the correct side of the green and allow for subtle breaks on approaches.

The course is relatively short overall, so look for birdie opportunities but avoid risky shots that bring trees or water into play.
