Fairways are wide and relatively flat but the course plays long at 6,790 yards so choose clubs that balance distance with accuracy off the tee.

Dense stands of red pine border many holes, so favor controlled tee shots and prioritize staying in the fairway to avoid difficult recoveries.

Greens are bentgrass and well maintained, typically running true and often medium to fast, so focus on approach precision and good lag putting.

Being on the foothills there are subtle elevation changes and afternoon gusts; always account for elevation and wind when selecting club and trajectory.
