You can practice at this course! Take advantage of the practice range to warm up before your round or work on your skills.

플레이 팁

Fairways are generally wide, but with 90 bunkers and many ponds you should prioritize accuracy off the tee to avoid big numbers.

At 7,235 yards the course plays long, so distance off the tee is an advantage but club selection into greens must be conservative when hazards are near.

Elevation changes are modest (around 17 m) so adjust club selection only slightly for uphill and downhill shots rather than large yardage changes.

The closing stretch of holes is the most tactical and memorable, and the 18th in particular requires a clear decision between an aggressive carry over the pond or a safer lay-up.

Bentgrass greens tend to hold approach shots and can be brisk in cooler months, so focus on speed control and reading subtle breaks on your putts.

Kato in Hyogo has a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers and a rainy season in June–July, occasional typhoon risk in late summer, and generally mild winters; winds are usually light but can gust across the hillier holes.

Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) are the best times to play for mild temperatures, more stable weather and firmer, faster greens; avoid the rainy season and the hot, humid midsummer if possible.

When visiting, please wear a blazer or jacket, except from June to September. Men playing in half pants (including three-quarter length) must wear socks that cover the ankles. Please refrain from wearing camouflage-patterned clothing.
