Accuracy off the tee is rewarded on this hilly Peter Thomson design, so prioritize position over pure distance to set up better approach angles.

The downhill 12th plays longer than its yardage suggests—club down for the carry but expect additional roll on the landing area.

The 8th is an island green surrounded by bunkers, so approach shots must be precise; aim for the center and avoid aggressive pin-seeking on long approaches.

Bentgrass greens here tend to be fairly quick and true, so take time to read subtle breaks and try to leave putts below the hole.

Exposed ridges can be windier than lower holes—use the GPS nav and observe flag movement to adjust club selection on higher tees and approaches.
