Make use of the generally wide fairways by prioritizing position off the tee rather than always trying to overpower the hole.

Bunkers and creeks are placed to force thoughtful tee and approach shots, so plan your layups to leave comfortable angles into the greens.

Bentgrass one‑greens are receptive to approach shots but show subtle breaks, so focus on speed control and read putts carefully.

Gentle elevation changes mean uphill and downhill approaches can affect club selection—take an extra club for uphill shots and one less for downhill ones.

Check the forecast and be ready for afternoon breezes; on windier days play lower trajectories and favor conservative targets.
