Take advantage of the wide, flat fairways by hitting a controlled tee shot to leave a short approach rather than gambling for overly long drives.

Because this is a seaside course, expect a noticeable sea breeze—always check wind direction and consider clubbing up into a headwind and down with a tailwind.

Bentgrass greens tend to be receptive but can play faster on warm days, so pay attention to speed and subtle breaks on your putts.

There are relatively few out-of-bounds areas, but be cautious of coastal rough and bunkers around the greens where recovery shots can be penalizing.
