The famous 12th hole is a risk–reward signature hole with water in play, so consider laying up rather than going for a heroic carry if you lack confidence with long irons or hybrids.

Fairways are relatively narrow, so favor controlled fairway woods and long irons over low-percentage driver shots to stay in play.

Bentgrass greens are well maintained and can run quick and true; take time to read subtle breaks and control pace to avoid costly three-putts.
