The course features relatively flat fairways thanks to managed elevation changes between holes. Well-maintained bentgrass greens provide a fast and enjoyable putting surface. Players can use remote-controlled riding carts equipped with navigation systems for ease of play. Although the course is described as relatively flat, expect some uphill and downhill approach shots and adjust club choice by a half to one club accordingly.

The well-maintained bentgrass greens can be quick, so prioritize hitting the correct side of the hole and avoid long lag putts whenever possible.

This mid-length (≈6,300 yd) layout rewards accuracy off the tee, so favor controlled drives and fairway position over raw distance.

Holes facing the Kanto Plain can be exposed to gusty winds, so always check wind direction and strength before teeing off and adapt your trajectory.

The area near Mount Tsukuba has hot, humid summers with frequent afternoon thunderstorms and occasional typhoons, mild and often clear springs and autumns, and cool, relatively dry winters with crisp mornings; winds are generally light but can strengthen across exposed holes toward the Kanto Plain.
