The front nine plays like a tranquil Japanese garden with gentle hills, so prioritize accurate tee placement and controlled approach shots to avoid tricky up-and-downs.

The back nine is a links-style layout with wide fairways but six hazard ponds, so play conservatively off the tee and plan layups to stay away from water hazards.

Bentgrass greens are very well maintained and generally run at moderate speed, so focus on hitting the correct side of the hole and avoid long downhill putts when possible.
