Tochigioka Golf Club is a challenging 18-hole championship course located just a 3-minute drive from Tochigi IC, offering easy access from central Tokyo in about 70 minutes. Designed with professional tournaments in mind, the course features beautiful, garden-like scenery that inspires all players. Notable holes include the 13th, a downhill short hole surrounded by a pond with panoramic views of the Kanto Plain, and the 18th, where a pond guards the approach shot. The course requires thoughtful play through its unique and strategic layout. Note that sauna facilities are currently unavailable, and the practice range is open only in the mornings.

The 13th is a downhill short hole with a surrounding pond and panoramic views, so carefully judge club selection and wind to avoid the water.

The 18th has a pond guarding the approach, so favor controlled irons and aim for the safer portion of the green rather than attacking the pin recklessly.

Greens are bentgrass and demand precise approach shots and a delicate putting touch, and note the practice range is open only in the mornings so plan your warm-up accordingly.
