The flat riverside layout rewards accurate tee shots more than raw distance because doglegs and well-placed hazards favor placement over power.

Several holes bend toward the Kinugawa River so prioritize placement to create comfortable approach angles and avoid water and bunker trouble.

Winds can funnel along the river producing noticeable crosswinds and gusts, especially in spring and autumn, so check wind direction before selecting clubs.

Greens are bentgrass and generally well maintained with relatively subtle breaks, so focus on speed control rather than aggressive reads when putting.

Use the GPS-equipped riding carts to manage distances and plan conservative lay-ups on doglegs while looking for safe opportunities to attack reachable par-5s.
