Take advantage of the generally wide fairways and be aggressive off the tee on reachable par-5s, but always leave yourself a comfortable angle for the second shot into sloping greens.

The first holes (Tachibana, Ichinomiya, Tenryu) include long par-5s—manage risk on these by deciding early whether to go for carry or lay up depending on wind and pin position.

Pay close attention to elevation changes on approach shots and club up or down accordingly, as uphill and downhill lies can significantly affect distance on this hilly layout.
