The course's wide, long fairways invite aggressive tee shots but prioritize positioning to leave comfortable approach angles to the greens.

Check which 9-hole rotation (South, Central or North) is being used on the day, as each loop presents different strategic tee placements and landing areas.

Wind from the Pacific can be a major factor on exposed holes, so club up or down accordingly and play lower shots when the wind is strong.

Bentgrass greens are generally true and receptive, so try to leave your approach shots below the hole and read subtle breaks carefully.

Wear soft spikes as recommended and expect firm summer playing surfaces with the course typically closed under snow in winter.

Best played from late spring to early autumn (roughly May to October) when temperatures are mild, turf is in good condition, and the course is free of snow.

During play, please refrain from wearing clothing not sold as golf (sports) wear, such as T-shirts or jeans. Please wear golf shoes with soft spikes or spikeless soles during play. For safety and heatstroke prevention, wearing a hat during play is recommended.
