Tamamura Golf Course is a flat, forested 18-hole course located in Gunma Prefecture, offering a comfortable and enjoyable round for players of all ages, including seniors and women. Each hole is beautifully separated by large trees, with seasonal scenery changing from cherry blossoms in spring and lush green shade in summer to vibrant autumn leaves and evergreen trees in winter. The 10th hole stands out with cherry trees lining both sides of the fairway, making it one of the most picturesque spots in the region. The course features soft spike-only greens and introduced cart navigation in March.

The course is generally flat but tightly framed by large trees, so prioritize accuracy off the tee rather than bombing driver into trouble.

The 10th hole is especially scenic with cherry trees on both sides, so play a controlled tee shot to find the fairway and leave a clear approach.

Greens use both zoysia and bermudagrass, so expect bermuda to run faster in summer while zoysia can be slower and firmer in cooler months, and pay attention to grain when putting.

Cart navigation is available—use it to check yardages and choose the correct club on tree-lined holes where placement matters most.

Tree cover often shelters many fairways from wind, but exposed or riverside holes can have variable crosswinds, so confirm conditions before long shots.
