The course’s generally wide, flat fairways reward straight, confident tee shots and make recovery easier for higher-handicap players.

Be aware of downhill fairways on holes such as the 10th, 15th and 18th where drives can run on significantly more than expected.

Par-3s demand precision because bunkers and trees are placed close to many greens, so favour control over power with your irons.

Bentgrass greens are typically receptive and not extremely fast, so focus on hitting the correct distance and reading subtle breaks carefully.

Winds are often light but can rise later in the day, so check conditions and adjust club selection, especially on exposed tees and longer holes.
