Takaoka Country Club, opened in September 1975, is the largest golf facility in Toyama Prefecture, featuring 36 holes across approximately 2.23 million square meters. The Ransei Course is relatively flat and rewards accurate iron play and thoughtful course management rather than pure distance.

The Manyo Course uses natural contours and water features inspired by coastal shapes, so prioritize tee placement to open up safe angles into the greens.

Open holes across the Tonami Plain can be windy, so always check direction and strength of the wind when choosing clubs, especially on long par 4s and par 5s.

Greens are bentgrass and can be firm and true in drier conditions with subtle breaks, so take time to read the lines and control approach spin and speed.

With 36 holes and a long total yardage, pace yourself physically and favor conservative strategies on hazard‑protected or dogleg holes to avoid big numbers.
