Takamuroike Golf Club, located in Kato City, Hyogo Prefecture, offers a beautifully renovated 18-hole, par 71 course known for its fast Bentgrass greens and gentle hilly terrain. Celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2024, the club has upgraded its clubhouse, bunkers, tee areas, practice facilities, and parking. The course caters to all players by providing additional tees for seniors, beginners, and ladies. The clubhouse welcomes guests with a Southern European design and features luxurious amenities including premium shower heads, cosmetics, and a powder room. The onsite restaurant is the only golf venue nationwide serving authentic Kobe beef, making for a unique dining experience.

The course’s gentle hilly terrain means elevation changes can affect carry and roll, so choose clubs with those slopes in mind.

Fast Bentgrass greens are delicate and quick, so be conservative with approach distances and prioritize accuracy over aggression.

Renovated bunkers are well placed around greens and along key landing areas, so avoid aggressive lines that bring those hazards into play.

Take advantage of the forward tees provided for seniors, beginners and ladies to shorten holes and improve scoring chances.

Wind can become more noticeable on ridges and exposed holes in the afternoon, so check conditions and adjust club selection accordingly.
