The tight mountain layout rewards accuracy off the tee—prioritize fairways over distance to stay out of trouble.

Significant elevation changes alter yardages, so play one club more for uphill shots and one club less for downhill shots.

Strategic bunkers and water hazards guard many landing areas and greens, so aim for conservative targets when in doubt.

Bentgrass greens can be firm and show subtle breaks, so focus on pace control and read the grain carefully.

Wind often funnels through valleys and can change between tees and greens, so check wind direction from elevated tees and adjust trajectory and spin.

As a mountain course, expect larger temperature swings between morning and afternoon, frequently changing valley winds that can be gusty, a humid rainy season in June–July, hot summers and the possibility of light snow or frost in winter.

Late spring and autumn (April–May and September–November) offer the most comfortable temperatures, stable conditions, and attractive scenery, while the rainy season and winter snow are best avoided.
